Microgreens are the first set of true leaves of the adult plant. They are grown with just water and lights due to the seed having enough nutrients to sustain the seed for the first few weeks of this life.

Upon starting this microgreen business, we are blessed with the supplies to get started growing microgreens hydroponically which means since the beginning, we have discovered the benefits of selling living microgreens and have stuck with this method of growing about 90% of our crops.

For years, microgreens have been seen and used in some of the most upscale restaurants as a garnish to gourmet and complex dishes. While this is wonderful and certainly adds to the overall dining experience we at Go Greens Farm want you to see the microgreens are so much more than just a garnish.

Although there is some effort that is required to get maximum shelf life of the microgreens, we hope that you will look at it as a privilege to know where your food comes from, how it grows and ultimately to be a part of the final growing process when you harvest them for consumption.

We are a grown to order microgreen farm and we will start the seeding process the day that you place your order. Grow times vary depending on the selected seeds. Some seeds have a longer grow time before they are ready to harvest but most are ready between 10-12 days after seeing.
